Katherine Heigl reveals how growing up living in a white bubble affected the way she parented her adopted multiracial family. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl admitted that she didn't care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. I inquired of Meg whether, while going out with her parents she got a particular treatment while out on her own she got a completely different one. Meg responded "Oh sure! Every all the time!" Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had made me feel." According to the actress, she grew angry. However, she wanted to channel that anger towards aiding her adopted daughters. Heigl is married to Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They adopted their daughter Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old who is Black from South Korea in 2012.
