Jennifer Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was born within Charleston West Virginia. The father of Jennifer Garner, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Her mother Patricia Ann taught at a local college. She graduated with a degree in chemical engineering, aiming to imitate her father. Her move to New York in order to fulfill her ambitions as an actor. While appearing in Broadway shows, she was employed as a waitress. She had a cameo role in the series "Felicity."
