Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 from Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation to reside in the Atlanta area, starting with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father took his first steps towards the theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. After 1957, the couple resigned from the air force and Walter entered Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local children's Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also referred to as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
